Wattoshi provides an energy-to-Bitcoin control panel that allows users to monitor and optimize energy consumption, participate in flexibility markets, and convert surplus energy to Bitcoin.

By using our services, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements.

2. Access and Account

To use certain parts of our services, you must register an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and for all activity that occurs under your account.

You agree to provide accurate and complete information during registration and to update information to keep it accurate.

3. Products and Services

Wattoshi provides software, tools, and services related to energy monitoring and Bitcoin mining. Certain products and services may have specific terms that apply in addition to these Terms.

We reserve the right to change, suspend, or discontinue services at any time, without notice.

4. Pricing and Payment

Prices for our products and services are listed on the website. We may change prices at any time. Payments are processed by our payment partner (Shopify).

All prices include applicable value-added tax (VAT) where applicable.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on the website, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is owned by Wattoshi AS or our licensors and is protected by Norwegian and international intellectual property laws.

You must not copy, modify, distribute, or use any content from the website without our written permission.

6. Third-Party Links and Services

The website may contain links to third-party websites and services. We have no control over and are not responsible for the content or practices of third-party websites.

Wattoshi may integrate with third-party services such as electricity providers, solar panel suppliers, and Bitcoin mining pools. These integrations are subject to the third party's own terms.

7. Wattoshi-Specific Disclaimers

Not an electricity supplier: Wattoshi is NOT an electricity supplier or grid operator. We provide a monitoring and control tool. You must still have a contract with an electricity supplier and grid operator to receive electricity to your home.

Bitcoin volatility: The value of Bitcoin can fluctuate significantly. Past performance is not an indication of future results. We make no guarantee that you will earn money by using our services.

Technical requirements: To use all features of Wattoshi, you need compatible hardware (smart meter, internet connection, etc.). We are not responsible for technical problems caused by incompatible hardware.

Third-party dependencies: Our service depends on services from third parties (electricity price data, Bitcoin network, internet connection). We are not responsible for downtime or problems caused by these third parties.

No guarantee of value: We do not guarantee specific financial results. All use of the platform is at your own risk.

8. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use our services for: illegal activities, abuse, fraud, attempts to gain unauthorized access to our systems, or disruption of our services.

We reserve the right to terminate your account and deny access to services if you breach these Terms.

9. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to services at any time, with or without cause and without notice. Upon termination, all licenses and rights granted under these Terms cease.

10. Warranty Disclaimer

The services are provided "as is" and "as available." We make no warranties, express or implied, including, but not limited to, warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for loss of profits or data, even if we have been informed of the possibility of such damages.

11. Limitation of Liability

Our total liability for any claim arising from or related to these Terms shall not exceed the amount you have paid us for the services in the last 12 months.

We are not liable for losses caused by things outside our reasonable control.

12. Indemnification

You agree to hold Wattoshi AS and our employees, officers, and partners harmless from any claim, loss, or damage arising from your use of the services or your breach of these Terms.

13. Severability

If a provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force.

14. Waiver

Our failure or delay in exercising a right does not constitute a waiver of that right.

15. Assignment

You may not assign these Terms without our written consent. We may assign these Terms to a third party without your consent.

16. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by Norwegian law. Any disputes shall be resolved by Norwegian courts, with Mandal as the agreed forum.

17. Changes to Terms

We may change these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the updated Terms on the website. Your continued use of the services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
