Wattoshi AS (organisation number 934 996 771) is responsible for the personal information described in this policy. It covers our website at wattoshi.com, enquiries submitted through it, and our account and dashboard services at app.wattoshi.com.

This policy explains our processing; visiting the website or reading this policy is not consent to optional analytics or marketing. Where processing relies on consent, you can decline or withdraw it.

1. Personal Information We Collect

Enquiries and leads: the name, email address, telephone number and message you submit, together with the form source, selected service, submission time and any calculation or roof information you choose to include.

Account and dashboard services: account and contact information, settings and connected-device information. Depending on the features you use, this includes energy measurements, consumption and production history, device status, mining and pool information, and the information needed to display your energy value and carry out your requested actions.

Technical information: hosting and security services may process IP addresses, browser information, request paths and timestamps to deliver and protect the service. Optional usage analytics concerns visits and interactions with features; it is distinct from the energy measurements needed to provide your dashboard.

2. Sources of Personal Information

We receive information directly from your forms and account activity, from devices and integrations you connect, and from technical requests to our services. The information available depends on the features and connections you choose.

3. Purposes and Legal Bases

We use enquiry details to respond, prepare requested offers and follow up on your request. Where this is a step towards a contract with you, the basis is GDPR Article 6(1)(b). For other business enquiries, the basis is our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us, Article 6(1)(f).

We process account and connected-device data to provide the services you request and perform our agreement with you, Article 6(1)(b). Security and abuse prevention rely on our legitimate interest in protecting the service, Article 6(1)(f). Records required by law rely on Article 6(1)(c).

Optional analytics requiring consent relies on your permission, Article 6(1)(a). Sending an enquiry does not require optional-cookie acceptance and does not itself subscribe you to marketing. Where marketing requires consent, we request it separately.

4. Sharing of Personal Information

Service providers process information needed for hosting, infrastructure, communications and enquiry handling on our behalf. The website's enquiry service uses a Google Apps Script endpoint unless a different enquiry service is configured. Connected services receive information needed for the integrations you enable.

We limit disclosure to the purpose of the service, applicable processing arrangements, and legal obligations. Information may also be disclosed where required by law or necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

5. Cookies and Browser Storage

On this website, wattoshi_consent stores the policy version, your analytics choice and the time of that choice for 180 days. It is a first-party, host-only cookie with Path=/ and SameSite=Lax, and Secure on HTTPS. It contains no name, email address or account identifier. It is not shared automatically with app.wattoshi.com.

The electricity-price tool uses local storage named wattoshi_now_inputs to remember inputs such as consumption and supplier settings on this browser. Local storage remains until it is replaced or you clear it in your browser. Dashboard login/session storage and account preferences are managed by the dashboard service.

Use Cookie settings to accept or reject optional analytics, save a selected preference or change your choice later. Optional analytics controlled by these settings must only start after an explicit opt-in. A missing, expired or invalid preference means no permission. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal.

The website's settings apply to this website in this browser. Manage dashboard analytics preferences separately in app.wattoshi.com. Browser settings also let you remove cookies and local storage; removing the preference cookie makes this website ask again. Blocking all storage may affect login and other essential functions.

6. Shop and Third-Party Services

The main website and dashboard are separate from the shop linked at shop.wattoshi.no. When you visit the shop, a payment provider or another linked service, review the privacy and cookie information presented there. Their storage is not controlled by this website's cookie settings.

7. Children's Personal Information

The website is not directed at children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, alteration, or deletion. However, no method of internet transmission or electronic storage can be 100% secure.

9. Your Rights

Depending on the applicable legal basis, you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your personal information, object to processing based on legitimate interests, and withdraw consent. The website consent preference expires after 180 days. You can ask wattoshi@wattoshi.com about retention or request deletion of your enquiry, account or device information. Withdrawing analytics consent stops future consent-based collection; it does not automatically delete information already held.
